The Sinhala Debating Association was re-introduced in the year 2021. However, due to the adverse conditions prevailing in the country, training sessions were mostly conducted through Zoom. Special training sessions are also conducted from time to time, one of which was held with the participation of Attorney-at-Law Dimuthu Senarath Bandara.

On the 19th of January 2021, our debaters participated in a competition organised by St. Peters College titled ‘E – Debater’. At this competition, D.M.U.A. Dissanayake of our school emerged as ‘Best Debater’ after a debate between Musaeus College.

Training for the Sinhala Debating Team is held on Tuesdays from 2:00pm to 3:00 pm.
